Alfa Laval

Alfa Laval is one of the largest producers of heat transfer equipment such as heat exchangers for refrigeration and heat pumps. Heat exchangers for natural refrigerants such as hydrocarbons and CO₂ has been in their product portfolio for many years. The mainly produced type of heat exchanger is plate heat exchangers.

Alfa Laval is investing many resources in developing heat exchangers for natural refrigerants and high temperature application with natural refrigerant. Thus, this is one of their focus areas. Alfa Laval regards the high temperature area as a new market. Thus, the present project fits perfectly into the R&D strategies of Alfa Laval.
